Slatmill Dogs?
We are The Region of Waterloo's first and only mobile dog gym!
We service Waterloo and surrounding areas including Kitchener, New Hamburg, Wilmot, Wellesley, Baden, and Stratford.
We come right to your home to run your dogs on specialized, self-propelled dog treadmills. These treadmills offer a controlled, high-intensity cardio in a safe, contained environment.

Your dog will be the only one in our van during this time - allowing for a fully supervised run without the
worry of other dogs being in their space.

Why a mobile dog gym?
​We can be the difference between an under-stimulated, high-energy dog - and a happy, fulfilled, relaxed pet.

Running is an innate, natural behaviour for dogs.
Jack Russels run at 61km/hr, Dalmations - 59, German Shepherds, Huskies, Standard Poodles and Border Collies - 48, Labs & Retrievers, while a bit slower, are still a fast 40 km/h. We, as humans, are not built to achieve the speed canines can reach.​​​​​​​

While slatmills are commonly used to improve cardiovascular fitness and aid in weight loss, slatmills are also useful

for reactive dogs where off-leash, free-running may not be an option

in reducing unwanted behavior such as digging, barking, chewing, and hyperactivity

Introductory Package

Three-Runs
($30/run)
​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​After your free trial run, purchase our introductory package to complete your dog's skill.
Every dog is different, but on average it takes 4 to 5 runs for them to adjust to our slatmills. After the free trial, and the completion of the introductory package, your dog will have completed 4 runs.

Introductory package must be used within the first month and is non-refundable.

​prior to any bookings with us, we ask that you confirm with your veterinarian that your dog is healthy enough to exercise

all dogs must be at least nine-months-old, and up-to-date on all vaccinations​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
While some dogs take to the slatmills right away, others take more time. Some need 4 or more sessions to find their stride.
Remember, each dog is unique and with practice, all dogs can learn to run at their own pace.
If you have a misunderstood or reactive dog, understand the challenges you face.
With us, your dog can run freely, without distractions or the risk of altercations with other dogs.
As long as you take the steps to ensure everyone's safety, we are eager to work with you and your dog.
Inside, your dog is in a safe, controlled environment. Whether walking or running, we ensure a great workout and mental stimulation.
Perfect for senior dogs, or for dogs who should only walk.
Important to Know
Since our mobile dog gym is 22-feet in length and 9-feet plus in height, we are not able to accomodate pups where we need to
park underground, homes with tight drive-ways, or without street parking.

In these circumstances, we have various parking lots that we are able to utilize which will allow "pet parents" to shop, have a coffee, or run errands while we work with their dogs.​​
